Australian submarine company ASC has extended its supply chain partnership with MacTaggart Scott Australia (MTSA). The new contract will provide greater security to MTSA and its suppliers, benefiting over 70 companies. MTSA, a subsidiary of MacTaggart Scott, supports the manufacture of naval defence systems and has changed its supply chain to use over 80% local industry. The partnership will also aid in further research and development efforts to benefit the Collins Class Submarine. MTSA employs 350 people across three countries with a turnover of AUD $69.6 million.
