Fairtrade: US consumers prioritise supply chain transparency - Sustainability Magazine

Recognition for the Fairtrade Mark has more than doubled in the last four years, according to Fairtrade America. A survey of 2,000 American consumers found that 61% now recognize the mark, an increase of 20% from 2021. The study also revealed that four in five consumers are willing to pay more for ethical and sustainable products. Coffee and chocolate are the most recognized Fairtrade-certified products, with consumers willing to pay a premium for them. Fairtrade America remains focused on increasing the US market for Fairtrade-certified products.
