Grenade training part of new drills - 台北時報

Hand-grenade training will be included in the basic training of volunteers and conscripts in Taiwan starting next year. The military is restarting the year-long draft and will focus on increasing the difficulty level of training drills. The training will include instructions on throwing grenades and safety standards. Additionally, the military plans to procure $32.2 million worth of M67 grenades from the US. The exact munitions and equipment to be stored in Taiwan as part of a US joint training and logistic group are still being negotiated.
