Logistics company C.H. Robinson has opened a new facility in Laredo, Texas, to speed up cross-border trade between the US and Mexico. The 400,000 square foot facility aims to support businesses looking to strengthen their cross-border shipping operations and take advantage of the growing trade activity in the region. The facility is strategically located near the Port of Laredo, which handled $268 billion in trade with Mexico last year, a 20% increase from the previous year. C.H. Robinson manages over 1 million trucking, rail, ocean, and air shipments annually in the region.
