General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems and Nammo Perry have won a $488 million contract to manufacture propelling bag charges for the US Army. The contract will involve manufacturing, assembly, inspection, packaging, and delivery of 155 mm M119A2 propelling bag charges. The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining has also been awarded a $176 million modification to a contract for manufacturing technology projects. Additionally, several construction companies have been awarded a $35 million contract for maintenance, repair, construction, and design-build services.
